Maame Akua Kome-Mensah
Title: Advising Fellow
Class Year: 2019 Concentration: Artificial Intelligence
About: Hello! My name is Maame and I am a junior from Accra, Ghana. I sort of stumbled into the SymSys major because I unknowingly took a bunch of SymSys requirements in my first two years and found out later that it was the best major for me. I have considered several concentrations in the major so you can talk to me about exploring and choosing the best concentration for you. Outside the major, I am interested in Business, Political Science and Comparative Literature which is actually not as orthogonal to SymSys as you might think. I've appreciated the flexibility the major has afforded me in venturing into these other areas.
