DESCRIPTION: You are invited to participate in a research study involving sentence production. In the experiment, you will be asked to produce one sentence for each of the 20 words proposed. The sentence should be the first one that comes to your mind.
The purpose of this
research is to determine the types of sentences that tend to be produced spontaneously. Data that you provide will be given codes so that reference to your name will never be made (in fact, your name is not even included in the data set). If you agree to participate in the experiment, you will get more information on the next page.
RISKS AND BENEFITS: There are no foreseeable risks or discomfort that might result from participation in this study. Beyond the pleasure derived by way of participating in a language experiment, there are no benefits either.
TIME INVOLVEMENT: Your participation in this experiment will take approximately 7 to 10 minutes.
PAYMENTS: There are no payments (sorry).
