SSP -Affiliated CS Faculty Win Awards

Several Symbolic Systems Program-affiliated faculty from the Computer Science Department were noted in this past summer's annual CS Department Newsletter as having won awards. Mehran Sahami (Associate Professor, Teaching) was named both as one of Princeton Review's Best 300 Professors and as the Robert and Ruth Halperin University Fellow in Undergraduate Education. Other SSP-affiliated award winners noted in Computer Science this year were trhe following:·        

Jeff Heer ― Sloan Fellowship       
Scott Klemmer ―  Katayanagi Prize for Emerging Leadership
Jean-Claude Latombe ― IEEE Pioneer in Robotics and Automation Award       
Chris Manning ― Fellow of Association for Computational Linguistics        
Eric Roberts ― IEEE Computer Society Taylor L. Booth Education Award        
Tim Roughgarden ― Goedel Prize
