	About: I'm one of the few sym sys majors concentrating in philosophical foundations. I've taken a couple of mind blowing philosophy classes that everyone should take before graduation--I'll tell you which ones they are if you come in for advising. Besides school stuff, I love to play basketball so if you're ever up for some non-ssp-related schooling let me know! 	About: I'm both a Symbolic Systems undergraduate and Concurrent Master's student. I'm also an Advising Fellow for the 2008-2009 year. In terms of research, I am interested in studying cognition through behavioral experiments and computational models, including connectionist and probabilistic models. I am currently researching how people learn perceptual categories, such as the names of animals or the speech sounds of their native language.
