I'm a senior/coterm concentrating in philosophical foundations. I grew up in Minneapolis, MN. During those rare moments when I'm not thinking about key issues in symbolic systems I like to spend my time playing poker, reading analytic philosophy, and watching HBO.

I'm a senior from Denver concentrating in Decision Making and Rationality, though at one time it was AI and Learning before that. At Stanford I've been involved in education research with Dan Schwartz's AAA Lab, as well as the Deme platform that the SymSys website is built on. This year I'll be working part time with Jeremy Bailenson in the Virtual Reality Lab. Outside of Symbolic Systems, I've also taken coursework in Econ, Humbio, and a handful of other fun things. I’m a Junior from Athens, Greece, concentrating in Decision Making and Rationality. In the past, I’ve worked in investment banking (conducting research on renewable energy resource funding), as a research assistant in the Transformative Learning Technologies Lab (focusing on learning analytics and educational data mining), and as an operations manager at Clinkle, a mobile payments startup that attracts a borderline suspicious number of SymSys students. This year, I am also the House Manager at the LGBT Community Resources Center.

I'm a senior concentrating in HCI and a coterm student in CS. I've done research in data visualization, crowdsourcing, and the role of prototypes in the design process. I've also participated in user experience and user interface internships, both at startups, as well as at large companies.

I'm a Senior from Palm Desert, California concentrating in HCI and also starting the coterm program in Computer Science this year. I've worked a bit in industry developing Android applications at Sony Mobile and have also worked with friends on a few startup projects. Last spring, I spent a quarter abroad in Cape Town as a part of the BOSP program.
